Portraits

In this assignment I worked with two different models against a white background focusing on their "reality" self, with no poses or "planned"photos. I would talk to the models and try to get them to relax and be their natural self.  Side Note: Sorry the two models are mixed together. Enjoy!

Depth!

This assignment was all about having an object in the foreground and an object in the background creating a sense of depth. The idea was to have a picture looking like it was going from front to back, not side to side or up and down. I interpreted this assignment by having one person in the foreground and another person in the background.

Leading Lines!

I interpreted this assignment as taking photos that essentially get smaller into the distance creating a sense of depth. For example the picture above shows a large road but your eye is drawn to the depth of the photo and the road "disappearing" past the horizon line. That is what I looked for when I took the pictures of the leading lines.

Rule of Thirds

This assignment was all about taking pictures on the  connecting points of a grid. Placement photos are when your subject is on the connecting points but division photos are when the horizon line is on the connecting points. I focused on bringing out the object and keeping open space around it.
