Team Photo Journal

Zephy:
Zephy uses the Neon effect to alter her photos and photographic style. When she uses it it turns the photo into something completely different or it can stay similar so I decided to try out her style by turning the portrait of Zephy into Neon.

QUOTE FROM INTERVIEW WITH ZEPHY: "(In a successful photograph), I think that the lighting is key."

Zaina:

Zaina did many different projects this year including abstract, shadows, etc. These pictures were all very different but one thing that most of them had in common was the use of black and white. So I turned her portrait to black and white to honor her style.

Sam:

Sam experienced a lot with flowers and nature throughout the year, especially flowers, so in this picture I tried to incorporate flowers into the portrait. That is how I interpreted his style.

Nora:
For Nora's last series project she incorporated a lot of different colored effects into her photos to alter the original colors so I altered her portraits with different colors.

Lena:
For Lena's series project she did a lot of photos with miniature action figures, and the back ground blurred, so I attempted to make her look miniature but it didn't exactly work, although the background is blurred to honor her style.

Kendall:
Kendall did a lot of experimenting with plants and the different lighting and textures. So I incorporated plants and a portrait into one photo to represent her style and technique.

Grace:
For one of Grace's series projects she experimented with people as subjects and their clothes, in the style of fashion photography. I took a portrait of Grace, with her earring showing representing the fashion photography part of her collection.

Cassie:
Cassie changed the colors in her photographs for her series project, in which she captured a lot of energy in her colors so I decided to capture energy in her portrait.

Aubrey:
Aubrey used a lot of light and colors in his photographs so I represented his style by adding color to his portrait, even though it isn't light, it represents his ideas.

Eliza:
In  Eliza's series projects she captures and energy and emotion, so I tried to capture the mood of the her photographs into her portrait.
