Leading Lines!

I interpreted this assignment as taking photos that essentially get smaller into the distance creating a sense of depth. For example the picture above shows a large road but your eye is drawn to the depth of the photo and the road "disappearing" past the horizon line. That is what I looked for when I took the pictures of the leading lines.

  1. Your photos where depth is shown works really well, but in so,e of them I have trouble seeing the depth. For instance, in the s-curve photo one thing that may have helped would be cropping the photo so th top of the photo ends with the tip of the s- sculpture so it looked like it kept moving on. You had my favorite photo though with the net... Not only is the depth, but it looks like it branches out into infinity where the structure fans out. Frisking awesome.

  2. Great flow of photos, I really like the lighting and contrast that each of them have. I really like the first photo leading off into the park, it draws the eye very nicely off into the distance. Also the winding S-curve photo is really different compared to all the city-scape photos. The photo with arrow really points out the line going off into the distance. Finally all of the photos showing the streets really showed off the assignment. Really great job Renna!!

  6. Nice job! You did a great job illustrating your interpretation of this assignment! My favorite is the sixth one down. It really leads your eye into the distance with contrast: the white wall, the dark gray path and the black door!
